My grandma bought it for me for my birthday(at the request of my mom, we were very poor growing up) and she didn’t know if I wanted Blue or Red so she bought both. Real life Pokémon trainer moment when I had to pick which one so she could return the other! (It was always gonna be FireRed, but still)

This was the only reason why I got a GameBoy and FireRed never left the cartridge slot once it was inserted for the first time. I took this thing EVERYWHERE with me.
