I’m with you on the bread. Also seems suspect that someone during the depression would waste raisin bread on that if they had it. Not a sardine fan but I could see something like rye bread and some β€œplussed up” noodles making that work a lot better.

Holy schnikeys that sounds good! Might switch up the cheese a little and do an au jus instead but I think I need that in my life. Probably not a lot because I am also a β€œman of a certain age” πŸ˜‰

So why is the bread so goofy looking?

You’re a braver man than I Barry. The olive on sounds edible but seem like a hard pass.

Maybe some Arby’s Horsey Sauce instead of mayo would work. Provide some horseradish flavor without going overboard or adding additional richness by not doubling with the mayo

Throw in some hash browns and that might be quite the breakfast sandwich

Might be a little weird/much but I think a fried egg might be good with that

Think that falls in the category of I’m sure it’s not terrible but I’m still not doing it, just on principle.

I’m not big on fish but that bacon makes it sound edible

That is a terrible name for the sandwich. Kind of like referring to the sun as a bright light. Technically true but misleading. Guess that’s 1964 for you.

Lettuce does seem a little odd. Also because I don’t associate lettuce with breakfast. Green onions would be the way I’d go for a veggie. Maybe avocado too

Only heard of onion juice a few times. Never actually used it. Not sure what I expected but I guess that makes as much sense as anything. Hard pass though.

The voice over mid sentence was unexpected and probably unintentionally funny.

Seems like a good candidate for a recipe remix. Not bad sounding but with some different ingredients I could see this being really special.

Not usually a beer drinker, but I do enjoy a good beer marinated chicken or other types of meats. Not sure how I would feel about Coca-Cola though.

I’m with you on the pickled jalapeno for this one. I like to make my chicken salad sandwiches with some thyme. Not sure it’d go with this version but I also typically put in sliced grapes and chopped walnuts or almonds.

I think the only semi positive thing I can say after today is, it is going to be paramount that we look out for each other and help your neighbors where you can. Mr Rogers talked about in hard times looking for the helpers. Let’s make him proud and be helpers.

That’s a tough one. Easy answer is bacon but I know that goes against your code. Garam masala spice might make it better. Maybe some sweet Thai chili sauce. It would probably drown out the olives but that might be for the best. Simple salted potato chips might also help.

Maybe something like gochujang would go well as a second plus up. Bring some spice and fruity flavor to the sweet and chocolate.

Same. I’ve turned several people on to these. It’s nice to have something simple and honest to enjoy on a daily basis. I also appreciate Barry’s humor.
