I concur. Not entirely sure my wife would agree.

It has yet to have its public première. Open to offers...
Oh, God. You've just transported me back to Busby Primary c.1974.
Rehearsing for our annual school concert.
Mrs Livingston, with her too many rings, clanking away on the piano, shouting instructions above a cacophony of descants played by kids who had no idea what the hell was going on.
Beyond excited to reveal our first book of 2026. The psychological thriller, Original Sins, by award-winning writer, actor and playwright @flamingredhead.bsky.social
Sleep easy...
Back home. It's raining outside. I sit with my face pressed against the window. Soon there will be Glen Michael's Cavalcade.
I steal one of my mum's cigs and look forward to the future.
Sunday afternoons for me in the mid-70s:
Church boring. The auld wimmin the cafe after service with their milky coffee and fags. Too many questions. What do I want? To be 10yrs older and escape suburbia. I can't tell them that.
My childhood recollection of travelling in from the southside was that the buses terminated on the quay by the Carrick. We we lived by Clarkston and served by Western and Central buses.
06.09.2025 17:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Terrific talk, Lucy. Really enjoyed it - informative and light-hearted. Perfect Tuesday evening!
20.08.2025 16:22 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This a great story and I know there was similar (or the same?). Initiative in Scotland. My understanding is that much of the collections thankfully were handed over to local authority galleries.
There was a good exhibition of the Argyll and Bute collection at Dunoon Burgh Hall about 7yrs ago.
You could use the generic term of Laldi. It stems from an imaginary idea that if the two brothers who fell out were Glaswegian but had a reconciliation.
15.08.2025 00:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Belated photo of the ferry view this afternoon. Very different. One of the joys of the Clyde...
14.08.2025 23:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I pop in and see it regularly at Kelvingrove gallery in Glasgow
14.08.2025 12:00 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My favourite Lowry.
I'll be on the same ferry later today and will take a shot for you guys.

Gosh! I remember seeing them in a small venue on my first ever trip to Paris in 1985. I bought the single afterwards. Still have it!
08.08.2025 20:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Great! One I've never seen and I missed it last time it was aired.
Recorder set!
Congrats!
13.06.2025 20:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Just a wee reminder that I'll be at the Wilton Street Garden Fete tomorrow for my annual mid-century ceramics sale in aid of Starter Packs Inverclyde.
I have things you don't yet know you need!
Classic!
