That drawing is one of the first depictions of my silly fella from a newspaper in 1909. I tried to interpret the goofy stick-ness of the lower legs and arms as a more skin-over-bone look and I’m pretty pleased with the outcome so far.

And of course another favorite, the Jersey Devil. Still working on this one but I’ve really had a fun time with it.

Pretty sure these are wood ear (or jelly ear depending on what you call them) but would love a second person’s confirmation with mushroom ID’ing experience before I try powdering them for added flavor in soup stocks. #fungifriends

Woah, I’m still here! Motivation on projects hasn’t been stellar lately, so maybe if I put this here my screaming about motivation into the void will get me going again! Been meeting new people lately, making friends, making plays, just doing my silly little things. Hopefully more to come! 🩵

Huuuge number of possibilities have been unlocked with the help of the new resin printer I got on sale at MicroCenter (my beloved). Same print from Ender 3 Pro vs Halot Mage Pro, the quality has me scheming about what I can do next…

Hoping that by making these details public I’ll be more inclined to actively work on the project. Lately I’ve been looking into some other modeling stuff for making magnetic to-scale D&D Dungeon Tiles. Another silly little project I can share another silly little day! ❄️

Many things to look into. I now have a better iron and tin made for this use specifically since Christmas has passed (thanks grandma 🩵), better skills in Blender for editing the model files, and a new resin printer to potentially print it in more solid pieces before fixing them all together.

3) the plastics which were full plates on the original model are now bridges and no longer have the thickness and stability to hold up upon impacts (fell out of the car and broke 😭)
4) the battery system I’m using is incredibly inconvenient. I need to get a rechargeable pack with compatible voltage

On the road I came across some issues.
1) My soldering was awful, the whole thing was connected in parallel and the eyes kept dimming from a bad connection
2) the visor is wayyyy too transparent from the outside and needs much more dye

So, some deets on the Proto-suit.
I’d taken the incomplete head with me to MFF (was planning on finishing it there but left the foam for ears at home, while thing there 😭) and discovered some issues with it mid travel. I had modified an M16 Studios MK3 base to retrofit my LED neons in. (Cnt below)

Heyyy, just been catching up lately and getting ready for the holidays. Biiig moves lately, we’ve got a White Elephant planned and I have just the perfect gift for some ̶U̶n̶f̶o̶r̶t̶u̶n̶a̶t̶e̶ ✨lucky✨participant!

There was just soooo much to see that I couldn’t possibly recount it here. Santa Claus, a condom wizard, PS2 Hagrid, it was just so insane. Reacclimating to my little cornfield smalltown is going to be so difficult, I’ve been irreversibly changed by this experience and I love it!

Absolutely the time of my life! This has just been the best weekend ever! 15,547 of my funny little animal people, I loved meeting every single one of you! Big love to everyone who went with me, travel safely back home! I hope nothing more than to see you all next year! ❄️💙💙💙❄️

And the people! They’re incredible! Foxqy (the last photo) and I talked a bit and they seemed so nice! It was super cool talking to someone from out of state, my little midwesterner mind has been irreversibly opened and it’s so cool!

It has been SOOOO much fun! There’s a ton of beautiful sights and colorful characters here! Last night was just night one, today at 1pm the Dealer’s Den opens and my poor abused wallet is not prepared 😭

Rave was wild last night! Twilight Sparkle, a rainbow dog, and Santa Claus were tearing the floor down! 😂

I was pretty close to a completed suit, surely I can have it done by next year!

Unfortunate news: We left and I forgot my ears. My suit won’t be done, but we are here at MFF! Fun abound for sure!
