Morning #RunningPunks. Had a heavy case of “couldn’t be arsed” when it came to yesterday’s run but felt a lot more motivated this morning. Definitely struggling at the moment with “the great grey beast February” (thank you Clive Barker). Late 80s classic rock from Van Halen helped though 🤘

Morning #RunningPunks. Well, it wasn’t pretty (although the first 14 were reasonably pacy) but it was all about getting miles in the legs. Lots of mud and slipping around mile 12 really hit the hips, so the final quarter was really tough but that’s the 20 barrier officially breached! 5 weeks to go 🤘

Excellent! Plenty more after that one (but it’s still probably my favourite)

I’ve only had one Eno so far, and I enjoyed it, but I have had lots of Costello’s (6 or 7 I think) - again, I have quite enjoyed them but I am not sure that, in a world awash with so many artists, EC deserves so many spaces.

I have been doing this with a group of online friends since early last year (I am on album 204 today). It certainly throws up some interesting albums, but it seems to disproportionately favour certain artists - we’re looking at you, Elvis Costello and Brian Eno 😁

Afternoon #RunningPunks. This week’s training wanted 4 miles at tempo pace - I wasn’t entirely sure what that meant so I just went for 4 miles at a manageably fast pace 🤷‍♂️
I don’t often do lunch break runs, but it’s been a crappy workday so far and I’m worth it! 😉🤘
