This may be an unpopular opinion but I really want Nintendo to support the Genesis NSO app more. Maybe release CD, 32X, and Saturn variants too. They wasted no time with getting major Nintendo consoles, sans the DS/3DS. That trio of Sega consoles has really historically important games.

Definitely. That’s a rational take. People are not rational creatures entirely. They’re emotional beings too.

A great point was made earlier about how we wrap our identity around a thing eg gaming or a game so when it’s criticised there’s a tendency to take it personally.

We all value things at least slightly differently

eg the SNW1 mainline pokemon games I have found very disappointing personally because I have a clear vision in my mind of how they could be improved reasonably easily vs I feel Metroid prime 4 is an amazing title

Wait until they find out that not only are they worthy of love…
But inexplicably they’re the very source of all love in the universe.

This generation will be defined by
day & date, feature complete, major AAA 3rd party releases whilst maintaining parity with other platforms.

That plus 1st party releases will define the SNW2 era in a way not seen perhaps since the SNES era.
