Three freshly bloomed blue crocus flowers almost fill the horizontal frame of the photo in a frontal view. Only the upper tips of the petals and the stigma of the middle flower are in focus, while the rest of the flowers fade into a blur towards the ground.

The snow cover has disappeared, and the ground is no longer frozen. The crocus of attention shifts to the blooming flowers.

Thank you, Audrey! 🫶 To take the photo, I had to contort myself in strange ways by the roadside. A colleague observed this and later asked what treasure I had found. I hadn't noticed her, as I was completely absorbed in photographing. I probably come across as quite eccentric now.

Snowdrops in the undergrowth. The white bells stand out distinctly against the green of the flower stems and the brown of the old autumn leaves.

A few bright white spots along the roadside caught my eye. Winter is currently taking a break here.
