From the outset the Met sought to ban pro-Palestine demonstrators from peacefully protesting.

The crackdown is an attack on freedom of expression & false claims of "forceful" behaviour are dangerous.

Charges must be dropped & the government must end this authoritarian exercise.

The government has actively facilitated genocide in Gaza, including through its continued arms sales to the Israeli military.

Today in Parliament, I reintroduced my Bill to suspend all arms sales to Israel & hold the government accountable for its role in enabling such horrors.

The violence against Palestinians in the West Bank is a reminder that genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid have not ended.

We will never stop opposing the occupation of Palestine because we believe in a simple and moral truth: every human being deserves to live in freedom.

It’s been 24 hours & neither Keir Starmer nor David Lammy have commented on the ICC’s decision to issue arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu & Yoav Gallant for war crimes & crimes against humanity.

Perhaps they could apply the same standards as the ones they outlined below:
