You can say whatever you want about Mercedes but there’s not a woman in North American wrestling this year with a stronger top 5 than her matches vs. Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Hazuki, Momo Watanabe, & Emi Sakura.

The Forbidden Door has elevated women’s wrestling in a lot of ways and Mina Shirakawa has been one of the biggest beneficiaries.

Mercedes and Stat had an amazing match. I had high expectations but they exceeded them. That’s the type of match that elevates a division. Mercedes was already in that BITW tier but Kris Statlander has earned her way into those conversations as well. I’m really proud.
