One of the more clear-eyed discussions I've seen on this subject. Worth a careful read.

The only violence I’ve been seeing in Portland is from the so-called Feds!!!
Keep sharing these videos; it’s evidence.
And that doesn’t include the many thousands of people that turned out in surrounding cities and towns in the greater Boston area

I would say that the Big Boneheaded Bill hurts Israel.

Today they have crossed a deep red line.
We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

I love this so much…
An old photo of Donald Trump smiling while holding large stacks of cash, with shelves of bundled money behind him. The image is overlaid with bold text: “Student loan borrowers will face wage garnishment at Trump’s direction.” Below, it states that 10 million borrowers will be subject to involuntary wage surrender beginning this summer, reversing a Biden-Harris policy. A yellow-outlined box defines “wage garnishment” as the government’s ability to seize wages, tax refunds, and Social Security without a court order.
Trump dodged taxes, filed bankruptcy six times, and scammed students with a fake university— but you’re the problem.
I hope all those bro-voters paid off their student loans…
Schumer is saying that Trump could totally cancel half the government during a shutdown and that he had to prevent the even greater catastrophe than this CR is. Not being in government I need someone to explain to me whether that’s a valid concern or not.

There’s a long history of foreign leaders wearing outfits that connect with their people. Gandhi, Churchill, Nelson Mandela… There’s nothing wrong with that.

It could mean that the world financial system melts down when investors realize that Elon Musk may selectively default on US debt. Just saying.
