Diagram of chemical reactions in the atmosphere of WASP-39b caused by light from its nearest star. Light from the star splits water into hydrogen and hydroxyl radicals. The hydrogen ions attack hydrogen sulfide and reduce it to sulfur. The resultant sulfur reacts with the oxygen in the hydroxyl radicals to form sulfur dioxide. The hydrogen produced in these reactions eventually leaves the atmosphere of the planet.

The reason the Hydrogen Sulfide is such a big deal is that it's generally pretty unstable. As an example, WASP-39b's atmosphere (also measured thanks to JSWT) breaks down H2S into sulfur dioxide.

TL;DR : Data from the James Webb Space Telescope indicates the presence of Hydrogen Sulfide in the atmosphere of an exoplanet (K2-18b). This may be an indicator of exobiology.

This is an I-153bis with two DM-4 ramjets affixed under the wings and it is unbelievably stupid.

Ramjets produce no static thrust, they need speed to work….
