In short, it's been postponed! Effective immediately, the new submission deadline is September 7th, 2025!

The spotlight was very awesome to see, love that everyone can come together to showcase their amazing works! Very excited to try everything shown ... when I get any break from my own projects 💀
Hey! I host like half of this and authored some of the gags in the presentation. It was a blast to work on and it's been wonderful to see the reactions; I was a bit nervous that the humor wouldn't stick the landing. I'm glad I was wrong about that.

...but not for us, as it comes scarily close to our planned Contest period.
We have to once more delay the SHC2025 presentation to decide what to do of this.
The presentation will now occur on June 8th.

For this reason, the presentation is delayed to June 7th, 2025.
This will not affect the happening of the Sonic Hacking Contest or associated events.
Due to a bee infestation in our video editor's room, progress on the SHC2025 presentation is temporarily halted, and is delayed to June 1st, 2025.
Further delays may be necessary. You will be informed appropriately.
Charlotte Fosgate, 17, a key figure in the Sonic the Hedgehog modding community, has been confirmed dead nearly a month after going missing.

Due to a series of very unfortunate and private events, HazelSpooder will no longer host the Sonic Hacking Contest. Ownership of the SHC is hereby transferred to giovanni.gen.
The upcoming SHC2025 presentation has been delayed to May 31st.
