That was a very fast week in Minneapolis with work. Zero jet lag as I kept to my usual Irish hours, bed between 4am and 5am and up for 10am. Which in MN meant bed for 11pm and awake by 4am. It was perfect. Now it’s time to head home. Decided to upgrade to business using Avios.

Well let’s not have our notifications going up there! I can see some embarrassing moments for sure!

So we have car play when in a car. Why can’t we have a version for flying. Wouldn’t it be so handy to be able to cast from your mobile to the larger seat back screen.

Same here. Until I had to pause it. I also have Apple TV. With VPN you can really get everything. I have iPlayer and ITVX, so everything can be streamed without issues.

I agree. But their loss is ITVs gain. Thankfully you can watch YouTube on the TV these days.

It usually is. And the livestream is available too. But we will only know tomorrow. I guess it will given it’s another way for ITV to monetise.

As someone who says yes to everything and becomes overloaded, learning to say no without guilt is something I’ve struggled. No and. No but. For me it’s very difficult and exhausting not to let someone down at my personal sacrifice. Leaning to say just no when needed is a major help.

Nice touch from Club Avolta. Usually when roaming you can not receive an SMS. The allow you to authenticate with WhatsApp. Nicely done.

First time getting the LIRR from JFK into Manhattan. Usually take the E train. Managed to get a non-stop taking a whole 14 minutes. Incredible. Now it did take another 10 to get out of Penn Station.

So I got my commemorative ticket for Eurovision. Definitely not worth the extra. It’s flimsy. And has this years winner / how did they know!!!??

Hailstones on Friday. Rain for the last week. Central heating is on. It must be summer in Ireland.

So I logged onto BBC to watch the doctor, and the big surprise was revealed as a news story! Not even a spoiler alert or generic headline. Ruined the surprise.

As we leave Basel - the city opened its arms. A neighbour on our street stopped to thank us for visiting. Scrolling on transport real time are messages thanking fans for visiting. And on trams there are multilingual screens saying thanks again for visiting. A wondering parting touch.

Made it to the arena. Under an hour to go!
