My cat has the same problem. She also tried to do her own dental work. The first time it was fine (she broke off her own tooth), the second time she didn’t do it as cleanly so she had to have surgery about it. (Here she is post surgery, the pain meds made her forget she was in the middle of dinner).

In Washington we have an open primary system where the top two candidates, no matter the party, get on the ballot. So we often pick between two democrats.

The guy had my vote before this because he is the more progressive candidate. But also I didn’t see his opponent coming to talk to us.

A candidate for our city council came to our door TWICE (once before the primary and once a couple days ago) and chatted with my fiancée (I was in the other room making sure our cat didn’t eat our spaghetti). I cannot express how refreshing it is to have a candidate come directly to your door.

Was just casually cleaning my house when I stumbled upon a single Pokemon card hidden in a loose stack of Amibo cards I keep in the top of a pen organizer. I don’t play Pokemon TCG (only MTG) but Gengar and Mimikyu are my favorites. So when I looked it up on TCG player I about had a heart attack.

My partner is famous specifically within one section of our tiny industry and not outside it and I used to have around ~6000 followers on tumblr. When we started dating someone claimed it was basically a publicity stunt and tried to spread that rumor around. To what end???

I should also mention that prior to this I had an extreme needle phobia! Covid vaccines helped me lessen that phobia so I didn’t avoid necessary vaccines due to how bad it was. (I still have the phobia but now I know how to tell the person sticking me what I need to be able to handle it).
