Bald cypress trees stretch out in front of a horizon ablaze with orange and pink light from sunrise. The trees grow from water that reflects the vibrant color. An ibis perches in a tree in middle-distance, its silhouetted form just visible against dark blue of the sky.

It was a surreal experience - floating in intense orange, sipping coffee, taking photos, ibis looking down at me from trees, quizically.
