Drinking mead, looking online for new rose bushes, and thinking about what time to set the Teasmade for the morning. I think I’ve reached a certain age.

Time-killing haiku
Waiting in my broken car
By the cold roadside.
Thing is... why should we be only part of ourselves at work? Employers need to get used to gaining a whole person! (That's easy for me to say - retirement is very nearly on the horizon for me and I tend to give fewer f*cks the older & more experienced I get)

I was curious so I googled... and there's no single setting that'll do this. You've probably done the same search.
3 options:
- YouTube video for what you can do www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmKn...
- moderate the content of your Bluebs
- just be your authentic self online & hang the consequences! 😇
Today's mood: at my desk in Rotterdam listening to Genesis from the 1980s on headphones, raiding my lunchbox to eat the marmalade sandwiches and Bovril sandwiches (yeah, in that order) and struggling to find the file I worked on yesterday. Pffft.

MY VESSEL IS STOPPED.
I'm operating in a very January-Fridayish manner and there's nothing I can do about it.
Is that Boston on the cover?

Parmesan and rosemary crackers. Was it a mistake not to let the dough chill before cutting them out?

Can’t remember what day this was, but one of the most enjoyable walks for ages - along the old Louth Navigation canal that heads out to the sea. Imagining this route 300 years ago busy with wool barges and far more people than were there while we walked with friends and dogs.

I’ve missed vegetables! 🤣
As soon as we get home (tomorrow) there’s going to be coleslaw!
That was capon chicken, pork stuffing and game sausage pie. I held up dinner time taking a photo!

Breakfast is half a pint of tea and two toasted teacakes with butter. I made them myself on Sunday. #smugbaker
I ate them at my desk though.
Stick a big potato in the microwave for 9 minutes (stab it first). Arrange cushions on sofa until it goes 'ping'
Add butter, cheese and S&P.
bon app!
Feral churches holding green communion growl at careless trespass. Their wild mysteries are not easily untangled. They scratch the soul, infect with untamed spirit. They place the language of vegetation upon the tongue and you find yourself offering thorned hymns. – #DAKilroy

Whoever thought 'edge to edge' cardigans for women were a good idea can do one. You never see buttonless cardigans for men, do you?
I'm shopping for a cardigan that buttons up so it can do the same thermoregulating job at the front as it does at the back and the sides. Not a huge ask, is it?
