So the “illegals” who were “taking our jobs” and also doing illegal under-the-table work but also not working and living off “our” welfare payments were forced out of the country (or kidnapped & held indefinitely), and that somehow makes actual reported job numbers go down?

I’m sure if Biden posted late one Sat night that he wanted the governor of Louisiana to rush a hospital ship to Greenland for a serious medical emergency in their populace at a time when we had no hospital ships available and there was no emergency the media would also ignore it.

That makes sense. Maybe. For it to happen once from just not being careful enough.

But yeah, multiple times - much less 9 (+?) - seems pretty unlikely.

Yeah, when it’s a straightforward statement of fact, the question “is this statement true or false based on all available evidence and experience?” doesn’t require knowledge of when/where the statement was made.

But it’s one of their favorite deflections.

And that was rude of him.

And that’s what these folks sound like. “How dare you make him apologize for the bus being crowded? That’s not his fault!”

The apology isn’t for a crowded bus (or a disability); it’s the right thing to do when someone is hurt by your actions. Even accidentally.

And if someone is harmed, however inadvertently, by my having a period or itch or sneeze, I’d apologize. Not for bleeding/itching/sneezing, but for the harm caused.

If you accidentally trip someone, do you throw a fit about not having to apologize because you didn’t intend to?

If you inadvertently cause someone harm, you generally apologize.

It’s a fundamental part of being an adult in society, saying sorry for hurt you caused even if it’s not purposeful/intentional.

Didn’t they just throw out the whole food pyramid to make it like “just eat red meat, all the time for everything”?

Ahh, the eternal question: are they purposefully lying, or are they really just that dumb?

Even citizens have been detained for made-up reasons (“assault” with mean language, skin color, generally being “suspicious”) and then (eventually) released, often without phones/documents (such as a photo id you need to vote in most places).

Even besides general intimidation…maybe that’s why??

Boyfriend and I have a pretty similar approach: I get groceries/household supplies, he gets the bill when we go out, a lot more than 2-3x/month, and it usually averages out.

MAYBE he doesn’t realize what she pays & they can discuss, but sounds like he’s just a selfish ass (& doesn’t like her much).

Here is my conclusion after sitting through Maxwell's deposition with her refusing to answer a single question about the men who raped underage girls, saying she would only do so for clemency.

She must immediately be sent back to the maximum security prison where she belongs.
