Here it started in early covid when classes went online, the local school board bought all the kids chrome-books as an egalitarian measure. A fair number of teachers have moved back to textbooks now though.

Depends on the parking spot. If it's an easy exit, I park forwards. If it's a tricky exit, I park backwards. ie. often in supermarket parking lots I park backwards because they're tight and there's a lot of wankers with pickup trucks
