Spanish, so thankfully very easy to find media/people to talk to! I have a wedding coming up in Chile in about a year and I want to have fixed up my speaking skills, especially, by then.

Oh nice! That’s a great thought. Confidence is definitely a major part of it; my listening and reading skills are still pretty good but it comes out more in speaking. I’m attending a wedding in Chile about a year from now and I really want to be super comfortable chatting in Spanish again by then.

A stoat in its white winter coat, or ermine. This small weasel-like animal is standing on its hind legs in a field with patches of snow and is absurdly cute.

In a way, we are all Winter Olympics winners due to the mascot-related increase in stoat content.

Thank you to the truck driver who yelled “Superman! Clark Kent!” at me in the crosswalk minutes after learning I’m gonna need surgery to reattach this tendon. Very encouraging.
