A blue bird with a brown back sits on black bundled conductors whilst holding a bug in its bill. It also has an almost purple colour on the front of its wing. The bird is almost fully side on.

The Eurasian Rollers are back! Amazingly, I watched a Kestrel diving on this pair, several times, they are a similar size. After the Hoopoe incident earlier in the weekend, I don't know what to think. Perhaps both with nests close by?
