Sexualization is a huge problem in orientalism.
It's not the only problem, and its not the only problem with those outfits.
There is nuance to skin being shown. The presence of skin is not inherently the issue.

i wish there was more attention on the overlap and divergence between race/ethnicity and nationality—like how elezen, hyur, and au ra all have very different experiences living in ishgard, which social/economic class can influence but isn’t the sole defining factor of your life there
