It really can feel like you live in a other world compared to them and its incredibly isolating

Humiliation ritual is such an accurate description. It may be different bcs of working in retail, but its like hell. I go nonverbal to my coworkers and cant process instructions w/out panicking bcs of how unforgiving it can be if I dont get it as fast. They are dumbfounded at every action i do.

I have been wanting to be more open abt my autism, etc just because I feel like it helps others understand me more and so I can understand myself.

Anyways I am only writing this whole giant thing bcs I have been exploring myself more lately, and I thought it was interesting.

This is such a big discovery bcs it explains my behaviors in terms of movement, and why I cant do things alot of people can. I just always thought I was stupid and knowing this term makes it easier to process for people.

Apparently it used to be alot worse bcs I went to more intense physical therapy when I was a child, and I now deal with the leftovers. This mixed with very slow processing skills makes me seem like im not in control of my mind and body to others. Its just slower processing.

I recently discovered that I have Dyspraxia. I heard about it recently in a video and didnt know what it was, but reading on it made things make alot of sense. I have always struggled with motor function alot as well as rly bad sensory problems. And sure enough, my parents confirmed it for me.

This is how its felt for me up until very recently bcs of autism. I hate trying to mask my tics, social behavior, and inability to understand things as easily. But ever since recently embracing it I have found so much needed confidence in my life and ppl who I know will be there for me.

I made a friend today who is also named Ash, 22, trans, furry, and listens to the exact same music I do wtf
