What if Steve had a crush on Eddie but thought he was the inexperienced so he goes on lots of dates and hook ups just so that he can be prepared to be someone for Eddie

Eddie gets home and his only warning is the heavy foot falls as Steve is running at him. They don't leave the door way till hours later
