Yes! That's why I'm skeptical about these "No AI" seals or Steam disclaimers. I'm sure no one thinks or takes into account MTPE or any LLM is AI.

If you feel that use of AI art assets at any stage of the process is an automatic out, but ChatGPT translations are fine if they're "checked" by people, it might be worth asking yourself why that is. Because it sounds a whole lot like valuing the work of translators less than other creatives to me.

this this this. i NEED people to understand is that if you think a job is "simple enough" for AI to do it, what that really means is you don't know very much about that job. it's a very CEO-brained mindset. just as aggravatingly wrong as calling retail/foodservice jobs "low-skill" and "easy"

Gente desubicada, desesperada, carne de cursillo superficial, presa fácil que atraes con el reclamo de la gratuidad y el certificado.

si de verdad quieres mejorar, déjate de atender cursos de IA/posedición, de revisar o "mejorar" lo que vomita la maquinita y ponte a traducir.

yo solo digo que para buscar una traducción mejor, y que el cliente vea que tu toque humano vale más que la IA, la solución no pasa por cambiar a una palabra culta, sino por darle naturalidad.

My two cents is that they consider it "low-investment" because the job in itself comes across as "easy" (which is not). That's why most LQA positions just ask for "native" people.
