Last night (Wednesday 9 April) was really special. Jon Everitt and Richard Durrant both blessed us with the most amazing music. We were left speechless at Richard’s guitar wizardry while Jon’s songs were both sublime and incisive.
World class musicianship.

Just a reminder to everyone that MusicHall Entertainers Dove’s Vagaries will be our special guests on Wednesday 5 March. We start at 7-30pm so we can all have a good sing before our guests take to the stage.

Ohhh Broadside!! What an injection of jollity you are. Another night with 16 singers, visitors from Australia, a lady who had just been to her mum’s funeral and found comfort in our company. All in all a very special evening of music and friendship.

What a fantastic night we had with Bryony Griffith and Alice Jones. Consummate musicians giving us a taste of a Yorkshire Christmas. Their show was laced with humour and body percussion. A packed Golden Eagle was spellbound by these two lovely Yorkshire Lasses.

I refuse to pay to watch international fixtures. All international games should be free to air. As a result of the paywall I have completely lost interest in England Rugby, to the point that I don’t even bother to check the scores afterwards.
