This ghastly Rangers-Islanders game reminds me of something Rick Carpiniello used to say:

Wonder if they put Nico at the 10 and give Maxi more of a backup/spot-starter role, but you're probably right that until we see Maxi coming off the bench, we have to assume he's likely a starter. Hard to imagine a guy that started all 34 games last year is suddenly going to be on the bench.

Updating the "Hall of Fame by debut decade" chart

No it's not "getting watered down." Here are 5000+ PA players/2000+ IP pitchers by debut decade. Of those that debuted before 1960, 24% are in Cooperstown. From 1960-1999, it's 12%.

The most bizarre part is how they ask for ID, threaten arrest, and when they don't get it they just walk away. It is so patently illegal what they're doing.

Have you ever seen real police officers not get what they want and walk away like this? These guys are bounty hunters, they're not police.
