The season 3 finale of #StrangeNewWorlds continues the show's trend of being bad fanfic written with the emotional depth and intelligence of a 12-year-old CW fan who learned about writing from reading Hallmark cards.

Jesus instructed his followers to go throughout the world sharing the good news, the Gospel. Not Leviticus, not the Ten Commandments, not the letters of Paul, but the good news that God loves us & brings grace & forgiveness, not judgment & damnation. Jesus ordered us to share the love of God.

Strange New Worlds would be better if it were about strange, new worlds, not CW-level relationships between supposedly "best of the best" professionals who act like adolescents. Actual stories & actual science fiction would also be nice. Season 1 is a good example of how SNW should have been.

The latest episode of Strange New Worlds was painfully bad. Like, I think I lost brain cells bad. The writers of that episode fundamentally do not understand Vulcans OR Romulans.

"Four and a Half Vulcans" is easily one of the three worst hours of Star Trek I have ever seen, and I've watched all of it. This episode should have been shelved, burned, forgotten. I'm embarrassed for everyone involved but especially for the writers. So. Bad. #StrangeNewWorlds #StarTrek

As far as I know, the main writers and runners are the same for all three seasons. I've seen some fans blame the quality issues on the writer's strike, so maybe seasons four and five will bounce back.

I'm ready for the end of Alex Kurtzman's tenure as #StarTrek's franchise runner. I love two of the three Kelvin movies, I love #Prodigy and #LowerDecks, and I like #StrangeNewWorlds, so I am not a hater. I just think we've seen the limits of what Kurtzman brings to the franchise. Time for new blood.

Season 2 was barely okay. B.

Season 3 is awful. C-.

The writing is atrocious, and the showrunners don't seem to have a clue what they want to show to be.

"Shallow fan fics" is a perfect description of season 3, though most fan fiction isn't this frustrating and half-baked. I really liked season 1, season 2 was meh, and season 3 is bad.

Ooh, yeah, back spasms are insane. This abscess pain might be more intense, but back spasms have shut down my life for days at a time. So far, knock on wood, no heart attacks.

This tooth abscess pain is the worst physical pain I've ever experienced. It is worse than two broken thumbs, hernia surgery, ganglion cyst surgery, and surgery to remove an ingrown toenail to the bone. It's almost as agonizing as having to sit through the full run time of The Rise of Skywalker.

Another incredibly disappointing episode of #StrangeNewWorlds, "through the lens of time" and into dumb writing. I haven't paid attention to the writers this season, but it sure seems like they brought people over from Discovery or a local middle school. Loved season 1, liked season 2, hate this.
