Quiet guy with a big passion for indiepop, cycling, darts, live music, non league football and Brussels sprouts. But not in that order. π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ

18.11.2025 21:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well, this is a phenomenal piece of writing (I havenβt fully read it yet). Isnβt music amazing that we can all hear the same lyrics & tunes, but all hear / feel something different?
Bright Eyes is my no.1 song of all time, followed by Drummer and Kiss Your Lips. Iβve not done a top 69β¦yet!
They were fantastic, werenβt they? (as were all the bands). One of the best All Dayer line ups, a great day of awesome music.
16.11.2025 17:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Must apologise to @thejustjoans.bsky.social for failing to think of a witty reply to David complimenting my t-shirt and for my daughter falling in to Katie whilst dancing to Twat Union! Will aim for better behaviour from both of us at Winter Sprinter! π What a sensational day full of great music.
16.11.2025 17:29 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0@allodarlin.bsky.social well tonight was pretty awesome also. Never been to EartH before, I thought the sound was stunning. Great to see a different set from Tuesday. Loved it. Enjoy the rest of the shows and see you again soon
09.10.2025 21:44 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This was brilliant and loved that you got to chat too. My favourite band on my favourite radio show - perfect.
09.10.2025 09:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0WOW!!
Amazing gig.
See you Thursday
I love it when bands, venues or promoters proactively give out the timings. Thanks for doing this.
But AD not on stage until 9.30??? Ooooooh, Iβm going to be tired tomorrow. Just as well Iβve only got work and not anything important to do on Wednesday π
Canβt wait!
Amazing, thank you. 10pm is great finish time (Iβm getting old!!)
23.09.2025 20:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Do you have an estimated end time for London? Need to work out whether itβll be early enough for me to get a train home or not (I donβt live in London). Ta
23.09.2025 19:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks for a great night tonight @fortitudevalley.bsky.social @sweepingthenation.bsky.social
A brilliant gig packed with awesome songs.
On another note, hereβs Gary reading his birthday card earlier today!
All great news, excited for the new album and looking forward to seeing you in Cambridge.
08.09.2025 17:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Awesome. Thank you very much π
07.09.2025 17:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0ITV showing their commitment to cycling perfectly there!
07.09.2025 13:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really looking forward to Thursday in Leicester (& Cambridge Indiepop in Nov). Do you have an idea of timings? I know itβs a pain when people ask this, but I donβt live in Leicester and need to work out travel.
06.09.2025 16:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I really hope not, that would be a shame as it would mean no chance of being able to watch the womenβs race in a couple sectors and then make it back to the velodrome.
06.09.2025 13:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Two support acts!! I can see this going on way past my bedtime!! π
Are you able to share start time so I can work out travel?
Ta
Brave comments from Martin at the weekend, but followed through with his line up. Will be interesting if he can keep the dressing room happy when heβs calling out and dropping players. Fans will be happy if results come.
05.08.2025 18:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Also, PFP went up in my estimations when I experienced the excitement of the French crowd at the Roubaix velodrome this year.
Plus sheβs not SD Worx or Demi Vollering, so Iβm happy with the projected outcome (still time for AvdB to gain another 9 mins though!! π)
Iβve not been able to follow the race as closely this year as I wasβ¦errβ¦ in France! But busy doing holidaying stuff. Caught the end of each stage and listened to the daily Cycling Podcasts and Iβve been captivated. Something different each day. But I do get easily excited by cycling
03.08.2025 15:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Very excited for this. Got tickets to two shows and bought the album last week - only had time to listen to it once so far, a lovely piece of work
03.08.2025 14:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0PFP didnβt exactly take 10 years off from cycling though, she was still pedalling pretty hard. How you gonna feel at the end of today when AvdB wins the stage by 10 mins having actually retired?
03.08.2025 14:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0When I was 9, a Scot finishing 4th at the TdF gave me a lifelong love of the sport. Thank you @pippayork.bsky.social. I hope what Oscar Onley has done inspires a load of 9 year old Scots, just like it has this 50 year old. So proud waving my saltire in Paris yesterday π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
28.07.2025 11:44 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It passed me by that they had an album. A quick visit to Bandcamp and Iβve remedied that. Looking forward to enjoying it.
21.07.2025 17:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Very good, although ramshackle sounds like it would be a messy noise, yet Indiepop to me is beautifully melodic. Iβll try something similar next time, but am totally reserving the right to just change my friends.
19.07.2025 19:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Question for Indiepoppers. How do you explain Indiepop to others? As soon as the word indie comes out, people canβt get past Britpop in their head. Sighing and then trying to talk about bands theyβve never heard of doesnβt help. Should I just get new work colleagues and friends?
19.07.2025 18:14 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 5 π 0Just wait until next year when he wins 21 stages all in the same race!
18.07.2025 16:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As a relatively recent convert to Indiepop (15 years or so), Iβm always on the lookout for stuff I donβt know, so will follow with eager anticipation
18.07.2025 16:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Every day. And Iβm ok with that.
18.07.2025 07:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And Iβve now seen the line up for Cambridge Indiepop. Iβll start queuing for tickets right now!!
