During my egg phase I had considered me liking women didn't qualify me to be trans. IDK why I had even considered that at the time.

i was straight up told once in a guide i read on the internet that i should make it clear to my eventual wife that i wasn’t trans, just a cross-dresser, and therefore not attracted to men

i was talking about this with @lasagnahog.bsky.social just this morning

the general societal understanding up until very recently was that if you were AMAB and wanted to be a woman ~and liked men~, you were trans. if you were AMAB and wanted to be a woman ~and liked women~, you were a cross-dresser

my wife straight up asked me if i was trans, and i told her of course not, i liked women

i delayed my transition by 10 years because i forgot about lesbians
