Clach Thoull is a raised sea arch at Port Appin. Formed when the power of the sea carved into a downward fault plane in the headland, it was subsequently raised by post-glacial isostatic uplift.

Cool geographical fact. The Scottish Highlands, the Appalachians and the Atlas mountains were once part of the same range which spanned Pangea. This ridge was known as the Central Pangean Mountains.

This S1 student is a brilliant artist, but I find that all students love a bit of colouring in and project work. Classes really buy into the "special geographical technique" ๐Ÿ˜œ of colouring around edges darker and lighter in the middle. Exemplars help.
