for context the point of this game is to put in any old disc or cd in your ps1 and the game grants you a random monster with random stats. you train the monster like a pokemon and enter it in tournaments. the game devs give you an OP monster and it fucking dies

people who don't know anything about monster rancher 2 will ever understand how funny it is for the devs to add an overpowered eyeball monster to the game if you put in your copy of monster rancher 1 disc in your ps1. only for it to die in the shed the next morning. funniest game dev troll ever imo
