I’ll surprise him with an all-paid vacation to a destination that’s tropical with beaches because he LOVES to travel. So I’ll say, hey.. take these days off wrk.. and when the day comes—we get to the airport and only until then he knows where we’re goin.. and I’ve covered the trip in entirety.

I think subconsciously he gets bothered when he realizes he missed “the mark”.. so he try’s to use the “I’m ungrateful” when I’m trying to tell his onion head ass—BRO! Stop spending ur money on this dum shit. & before you think.. like what do you get him instead.. I’ll tell u

My point is.. you didn’t have to spend 1k+ on a computer that I legit will only use on occasion. So I asked, do you mind if I return this and get a cheaper one?! One that I can use and optimize—he gets mad and says no. So 4 years later, imagine how many times I’ve used that computer. Maybe 5-6 times

so things like that didn’t really interest me especially given the price point. He nods his head in agreement. Fast forward to Christmas, this dude buys me a MacBook Pro.. ?!!!?! I’m looking like.. why would you spend this much money on a computer that’s intended for wrk?!

to Mac Computers.. due to the complexity at the time. I told him even in college when everyone wanted Mac, I preferred to get Microsoft and told him It was also barely used because I would tend to do my homework in the computer lab—so I wasn’t a kid who would “play” on the computer..

we’re gonna have to talk about it because it’s not the first time he does it. For ex. I’m not impressed on large price tags—it merely doesn’t always equate to quality. A few Christmas ago, I referenced I wanted another computer for wrk ($200-400 max) and emphasized WORK. I’ve never really adapted..

I kept asking myself—like why are you so pressed to gift me something before Christmas?! Why not wait.. but he gets too excited and want to unveil it asap which is slightly annoying and odd given the many times I’ve reiterated my preference—nevertheless, we’re here..
