Here's a lovely photo of my two fabric art spirits. Penelope is a white ghost with a gray face, twinkly black eyes, and an open mouth full of five sharp teeth. She's covered with embroidered pink flowers and yellow line markings. She has two twirly head wisps. Beside her is Little Penelope, a tiny white ghost with a gray face, embroidered pink flower eyes, and a little frown. She has two tentacle-like arms. There's green fur in the background and they're standing on a lovely galaxy print fabric.

Meet Penelope and Little Penelope Gloom-Wilder the Flower Spirits. I designed and hand-sewed them, and I hand-embroidered their flowers and markings. Many centuries ago, Penelope became of two minds about a certain topic, and she decided to become two people.

This puts me at 10 people released. I filed my 1st habeas petition 29 days ago. I am an incredibly small-time, nobody lawyer who knew nothing about immigration law the day I submitted that case. I barely know any more today. I had never sued the federal government and now I've beaten them 10 times.

This is to say: if you're an attorney who's hesitated to take on habeas cases because you think you lack the knowledge, or you're worried about whether you'll really help, I PROMISE you can make a difference. I'm just a dipshit with a 7-year-old laptop and a bad attitude. If I can do it, so can you.
