The shadow flames around the Typlosion would surround itself before launching right at the sands where Skarmory was last seen! Even with sand in his eyes, Onibi isn't going to give up! But did she hit the right spot?

lie here but that Sand Attack did get into Onibis eyes, causing the Typlosion to shake his eyes a bit! Rubbing his eyes, it was clear it was affecting him as the Eruption went all over the place, scorching the sands all over!

Reina knows one thing about champions like Steven: Even if they have a preferred type they build their team around, they didn't gain their position because of an exploitable weakness. To some, they bait other trainers to go for super effective attacks.

"I do wonder if it is around. Knowing some Pokemon, they can travel from region to region if given the chance.

And given Spring is coming, Grass and bug types will be a lot more common at the beginning... We may be able to find it!"

well knowing both attacks can connect and do damage to both mons unless Steven thinks of a last minute change in direction for Skarmory!

first instinct is to go on the offensive.

"Wait for the Skarmory to strike and go for an Eruption!"

She only has one shot at a fully healthy Eruption given it's stronger the healthier the Pokemon is. So she may as well make it count as Onibi shoots out flames out of his spectral flames,-

With a flying type, Aerial Ace is always a good guaranteed move to start off with, provided a Pokemon doesn't resist flying. Reina knew that real well with her own flying types.

To her, it was predictable but still a good start. She knew there was now way to avoid it so her-
