I’ve had Nora for a month now and today she and Ellie finally met face-to-face.

Here they are!

I finished my first viewing of Boardwalk Empire on Thursday and it exceeded all expectations. The final season in particular is one that’s going to haunt me for quite some time. If you haven’t seen it, you must. It’s a drama for the ages.

I finished my first viewing a bit over a month ago now and that line simply knocked the wind out of me. Robin Weigert’s delivery has been rattling around my head ever since.

I don’t post here often but for those who left Twitter, big update, new cat! Her name is Nora, she’s two years old, and I love her. (She does have teeth.)

Ellie would like to argue that there’s nothing like a nice, soft couch to nap on!

Well, shit, I’m fresh off a Deadwood watch so that just catapulted Too Old to Die Young to the top of my to-watch list.

Hold up, is that John Hawkes?

“Return of the Jedi” at number one has healed me after 25 years of ridicule.

It’s not even the point of this review, I know, but god I’m so concerned that Pedro Pascal is gonna be typecast as stoic characters forever in complete defiance of his charisma and range.

It’s fucking magnificent. I sobbed my way through the last three episodes.

God, this is so disappointing. I’ve been curious about this show after seeing Jasmin Savoy Brown in The Leftovers, but I’ve just been hearing so much negative about the current season.

I love this game nearly as much as I hate the show, and every time Neil Druckmann opens his fucking mouth, I’m just baffled about how anything good could possibly be connected to this guy.

That’s entirely fair! I’ll keep it on my “maybe” pile for now. I have plenty of certified bangers to savor in the meantime.

Do you think it’s worth watching overall or is my time better spent on other shows?
