17.10.2025 09:44 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0He is one of the laziest players I've ever seen. It really pissed me off that he got an on pitch ovation/send off when he left. I couldn't stand him when he played for us and nothing has changed that since.
17.10.2025 09:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well, the days *are* getting shorter...

04.10.2025 23:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They haven't played anyone good yet though. Even Villa and Forest are shite this season. Some time soon they've got to have a horrendous run of games.
27.09.2025 22:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So it took a small school to finally shine a spotlight on the ticket scalping thatβs been happening right front of the clubβs face for years? Checks out. #NUFC
11.09.2025 13:34 β π 9 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0All that time pissing about trying to get Foden and Bellingham in the same team and the answer all along was Tino Livramento #nufc
(not that I give two shits about international football)
$900k to never sleep another wink in the rest of your life feels a bit over my budget tbh.
29.08.2025 16:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Looking forward to all the "scousers" to change from "free Isak" and "once a player wants to leave then let him leave" to they've had our kegs down π₯±
29.08.2025 12:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fair enough mate, no hard feelings.
I'm pretty sure we'd agree on pretty much everything but football, but that's football innit π€
Thanks for the critique. Your charm is a joy to behold x
28.08.2025 17:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thank goodness for that.
Don't try and turn things into a moral argument if you don't want one then.
I've never spoken for other NUFC fans but thanks for letting me know how my opinion is mistaken.
You sound very angry now and are starting to get personal, more condescending and dare I say again *sanctimonious*.
Is that a yes then?
I have been specifically talking about PL clubs. I'm sure we'd both agree that the same governance can't look after multi billion pound global business and L1 and L2 clubs.
Read into it *what you like* but I'm happy to go with a *consensus* of a *level playing field*.
So, do we agree on the level playing field that all clubs should be allowed to spend the same?
I may have said spend whatever they can afford, but I also said I'm happy with any regulation that ensures that all teams can spend the same.
In the spirit of debate, I'm happy to make that concession.
My point is and always been that all clubs should be allowed to spend the same. Yes that would benefit the team I support, but also quite a few others.
28.08.2025 15:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think I have addressed what you are now turning into what would be an entirely legitimate moral debate, but none of this was about that.
It was purely based on some teams being allowed to pay higher transfers and wages than others.
"Co-opting willing dupes" is condescending and quite sanctimonious
My position is as convenient as yours, we just happen to be on opposite sides of the fence.
You support the sustainability (revenue) argument and I'm a bit more cynical and think that's the most misused part which supports historic wealth (your team) to the detriment of the rest (including my team)
Not reckless spending, no, just as much as everyone else.
Just like they were before the rules were introduced and created the two tier system.
I was being facetious.
You're right, club is a better word than owners but the same applies.
I'd be more than happy with any regulation as long as it meant every team could spend/pay the same. M not looking for a cheat code, just parity.
Being forced to sell your academy players to others in the same boat to keep the books happy.
There isn't a single owner in the league that needs to be protected to keep them afloat.
How dare they try to improve their team, be successful, increase revenues and compete? They should just do that with free players that no one else knows about.
28.08.2025 13:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But that is an entirely moral argument (and as I say, a legitimate argument) which is separate from the solely financial discussion about whether teams should all be allowed to spend what they can afford regardless of their historic achievements.
28.08.2025 13:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0There is a moral argument without a doubt, but that is a completely different one to this financial one and the rules that protect some clubs. It is far from just an #nufc issue but it's acutely impacting #avfc and #nffc as we speak. Most of the rest are only interested in staying in the PL.
28.08.2025 13:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We're all hoping that is well in the pipeline and plans are already afoot. Whether it happens, we'll have to wait and see.
I still believe all clubs should be able to spend whatever they can afford.
And that's fine if you agree with the rules and their implications then you are free to think that, that's fine.
I disagree and believe the rules protect a small number of clubs based on success and wealth achieved during a time when the rules didn't exist.
I think all clubs should be able to spend what they can afford to spend, like they can in any other business - as was the case until the current rules stopped it.
I've never claimed we are minnows but my point stands and applies to any club including the mackems.
