Hello UI-CON attendees and fans!

UI-CON is moving through time and space for 2026, and we'd like you all to join us on the journey! UI-CON 2026 will be held at the Illinois Conference Center (connected to the iHotel), and will be held Friday, Jan. 30th, and Saturday, Jan. 31st.

That said, we remain committed to keeping our badge prices as low as we can. And since we are now paying for our venue, we are also looking into major changes that will improve the convention significantly!

We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

We are already hard at work planning for UI-CON 2026. However, we have some unfortunate news. Due to changes in university policy, we couldn't have an artist and vendor hall with our current arrangements in 2026. This will mean that our badge prices will be going up significantly for next year. 🧵

The first half (!) of the many groups that made our gaming room possible! Thanks to Illini eSports, The Illini Metagamers, Illini Crusaders, and Illini Rhythm Syndicate for running events and providing games, equipment, & volunteers for our gaming room!

With the con at an end, we'd like to take these first few days for a sort of "end credits" to thank all the many organizations, RSOs, and others who helped make this year possible. Today, we're thanking the University of Illinois Library, especially the IDEA Lab, Media Commons & the Ricker Library!
