I think therianthropy is an identity to an extent, but I also do think the deep-seated identification with a non-human animal that the term attempts to describe is a lot more common than people identifying with said term if that makes sense.

As may be the case, but my point was more that "giving x a private space" just means separating them from their peers who get to sit in the normal, well-behaved people crowd. I don't have the answers here by any means, but that answer is one that is an inherent compromise toward acceptability.

I think this can blur the line between accommodation and segregation. If an accommodation can't be inclusive, what's the point in even showing up?

I think the problem here is that it'd have been difficult to provide any such accommodations beyond what they already did.

I think the point is more that saying you have a responsibility to not say the 1 thing they really shouldn't say kinda ignores that if they had agency to just not be disabled, you'd think they would just choose to magically not have Tourette's. It's like denying that they have a disability at all.
