In Mario Kart World, an MKTV helicopter tracks the racer in first place on routes between tracks. Despite appearing to only be a decorative element to provide the feeling of a real rally, it actually has collision and can block projectiles aimed at first place.

There's just a lot of things about this game that ruin the experience for me and it's not something I would see myself playing for a prolonged period of time, I feel like I've seen it all. Shame, I think it could've been good

Okay... I think drag x drive sucks, sorry. The core gameplay is actually very good and I really like the concept but it's like impossible to join a public lobby a friend is in, and even if you do youre not guaranteed to be in the same game as them. And I hate the possession timer.

Played two game demos recently: Mina the Hollower and The Adventures of Elliot. Both really fun games in their own ways and there's a solid chance I'll pick up the full version of at least one of them and possibly both when they release

How have I not seen a single person mention that in Donkey Kong Bananza, if you punch the DJ table while some songs are playing, the record will flip and play a B-side version! You can listen to the enemy-fighting variants of layer themes, as well as low-health versions of boss themes this way.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, Fractones can be modified by throwing chunks of dirt at them. With enough patience, so much material can be heaped on them that they reach their maximum size, a giant cube. After the cube form has been attained, no further material will adhere to them.

am I the only one who finds it kind of insane that we're most likely going to enter september with almost no release dates for the rest of nintendo's 2025 games, and also no major switch 2-exclusive holiday title? what is going on lol, this is a very bizarre console launch year.

Donkey Kong Bananza 100% complete! This game is a masterpiece through and through and a worthy successor to my goat Super Mario Odyssey. Easily one of my new favorite games of all time, with an ending sequence that I will never forget. EPD-8 is an absolutely insane dev team lmao. #DonkeyKongBananza

plants vs zombies remaster 👀

I don't even know how to begin to describe this. Everything about it was perfection. The initial K Rool reveal was badass, and then I genuinely thought it might've been over after the first fight against him. And then the fake credits happened and I lost my mind. The gangplank galleon beat drop being timed to him getting up and chasing you with his propeller... just wow. And then I ended up in fucking New Donk City!!!!! And the single greatest moment for me was when I got back control of DK and saw the chaotic aesthetic of the area and heard the music with the Jump Up Super Star motif snuck in there... K Rool-ified New Donk City was something I never knew I needed until now, what an unbelievable experience, it almost felt like a true sequel to Odyssey. And then, in a game that admittedly earlier on had boss fights I found too easy (though a lot of the later ones were much better), the journey ends with a proper, challenging, and lengthy all-out brawl with a transformed version of K Rool. Odyssey is probably still my favorite game, but its ending compared to this is dogshit LMFAOO

My thoughts on the Donkey Kong Bananza ending are in the image alt text where you can see me gush in more detail (obvious spoilers). That was far and away my favorite ending to any game I've ever played. I don't know if I'm ever going to recover from that. This is probably my 2nd favorite game ever.

You're the real winner here tbh, this game is something special and I think it's worth taking it slow and savoring every moment. I don't see the benefit in speeding through it. I'm just loving exploring each layer thoroughly

I wish I could describe how special DK Bananza is to me. It's such an easy top 5 favorite game of all time (and probably higher). The Odyssey devs have made a game that promotes player freedom but still makes the gameplay meaningful while encouraging exploration at every corner. Brilliant experience
