plus, the mastodon instance you choose doesn't limit you to that instance, you can talk to everyone using mastodon from any instance, whichi is neat

Part of me still wishes Mastodon was the "twitter replacement" that actually took off instead of Bsky.

I get why it didn't for the record. As a newcomer, it's insanely convoluted and confusing.

But still. Wish that happened I guess.
