I never imagined I would watch our country slide into fascism and authoritarian control. Mostly, I didn’t realize how quietly it would happen. How we would have to search for the signs because media and educational institutions crumbled under pressure.

I will never understand how people can be okay with this. Excited, even. We are watching our society collapse into a living dystopian nightmare. Society has forgotten that what makes us great is our humanity. Doubting how much humanity some have left anymore.
