2. We were quite anxious as to how they would react to him being trans and on blockers. Honestly, they couldn't have been nicer. Every doctor, nurse and other medical staff were incredibly kind and supportive. We were expecting them to stop his blockers, but they have said there is no need.

1 - My son was in hospital before Christmas with a life-threatening condition. One which will require support for the rest of his life. We were transferred to another hospital, and he has been seen by a fairly large multi disciplinary team.

It's horrific, and I am so sorry it's happening there. I have a trans child. We are having to leave the UK as they are making our lives hell here. The problem is so many countries are regressing that it's hard to know where it is safe anymore.

Unfortunately, there are too many people in the UK looking at what is happening over there and wanting the same here. We have had the same lobby groups spreading the same lies here that you have.

I have a trans child and we are having to leave the country because of the hell his government are putting us through. So whilst he is sat there pretending he gives a shit about equality whilst removing rights for other groups then absolutely I will keep pointing out his hypocrisy.

It's so messed up. I have family members who will fully admit to understanding and believing the media continually lie but believe everything that they read and then will argue the point for hours as though it a fact.

I avoid Streetings comments on anything. I just get angry. I met with him and he is an absolute monster.

It's so unbelievably cruel and pointless. The only explanation for me is that they just refuse to believe ADHD is real. No meds means more money to funnel out in subsidies to their donors.

I feel exactly the same. Plus I had serious sugar and caffeine addiction that left me with chest pain and diabetic. The medication stopped both my sugar and caffeine cravings and has improved my physical health dramatically. I walk 3 to 5 miles every day now. I cost the NHS less whilst on meds.

My ADHD was horrific when mixed with perimenopause, I could not cope being plunged back into that hell. I have a trans child whose meds we are forced to pay huge amounts for, I can't afford to pay out more for me too. But, we are leaving the country so hoping where we settle things are easier.

I knew in my 20's I had ADHD. I am the stereotypical, tick every box, easy to diagnose type. It took 20 years of begging for help before they would take me seriously. For many decades, they didn't even believe females could have ADHD. We know more now, this is why the numbers are increasing.

I did as well, but they are talking about cancelling shared care agreements now. It makes no sense, I can function well with meds, how does our society benefit from having people with adhd unmedicated.

Medication changed my life, I couldn't go back to not having it now. It's cruel to give people a glimmer of how much better you can feel and then take it away.

I had 20 years of begging for help with Adhd and being told i was looking for excuses. Finally, I got a diagnosis a year and a half ago and have been on medication for a year.

I'm so devastated for you. I just can't fathom the sheer cruelty and the lack of care around what these decisions mean for trans people.

I can't bring myself to read up on the case today but having seen the comments I'm guessing it's bad. I could not care less who is peeing in a cubicle next to me, I'm so sorry this is happening.
