Pope Francis Made the Church More Global. What Does That Mean for the Conclave? Francis appointed most of the cardinals. But they may not choose another pope like him.

Glad to see my data from the World Christian Database cited in this @nytimes.com article! The Catholic Church is the most global it has ever been.

About 80% of those at risk of deportation from the US are Christians (10 million) – 61% Catholic & 13% Evangelical.

With no change in US law, one out of every 12 Christians are vulnerable to deportation or could lose at least one family member to deportation.

Glad to see the Episcopal Church have this moment. I know the data, trends, and theory as to why, but it always astounds me that Americans generally agree with the positions of progressive churches, yet they’re in severe decline.
