We just did the 153th burn since 2013 in our plots! In each burn we measured different fire parameters like fire intensity, fuel load, fire temperature, etc. Thanks to all students, local people and the fire brigade who helped in all experimental fires! @leveg.bsky.social @programabiota.bsky.social

Yesterday the BRIVAC, a volunteer fire brigade, did a prescribed fire during the II SeminΓ‘rio Regional do Manejo Integrado do Fogo. In Brazil, local volunteers are essential for the success of fire management, including during wildfires. Bravo BRIVAC!
