September 2025 und dem Übertrag in das parlamentarische Verfahren startet die Umsetzung des neuen Gemeinsamen Europäischen Asylsystems (GEAS), das ab Sommer 2026 in nationales Recht überführt wird (vgl. Pro Asyl 2025). Es droht eine radikale Beschneidung des individuellen Asylrechts und weitere systematische Ausgrenzungen. Der GEAS‑Entwurf legt den Kern seines Ansatzes offen: Nicht Schutz, sondern Abwehr. Asylsuchende sollen schnellst-möglich und möglichst außerhalb der EU-Grenzen einem Verfahren unterzogen werden, selbst wenn ihnen in Herkunfts- oder Transitländern Verfolgung droht. (vgl. Pro Asyl 2025) Rechts unten sind die Logos von Seebrücke und pena-ger.

In weißer Schrift steht geschrieben: Noch mehr Lager Mit § 44 Abs. 1a AsylG‑E führt die Bundesregierung sog. „Aufnahmeeinrichtungen zur Durchführung von Verfahren zur Sekundärmigration“ ein. Damit geht sie über die EU‑Vorgaben sogar hinaus. Diese Zentren sollen schon mit Inkrafttreten des Gesetzes eingerichtet werden, deutlich früher als die EU‑Regelungen, die erst im Juni 2026 gelten. Ob und wo solche Zentren entstehen, entscheiden die Länder. Baden-Württemberg und Niedersachsen planen erste Standorte. (vgl. Pro Asyl 2025) Die geplanten Einrichtungen zielen auf Menschen im Dublin Verfahren und bereits anerkannte Personen. Erwachsene sollen bis zu 24 Monate und Familien mit Kindern bis zu 12 Monate untergebracht werden, jeweils sechs Monate länger als in regulären Einrichtungen.
