You know what's the understatement of today's match just how much Lammens looked solid without after having to really pull off any decent saves. Yes they hit the bar 3 times but barring the isak chance he's didnt really get tested. He simply had to do the basics well and he did that. #UTFR

Mainoo as a 10 looks better . Overall though our tempo , one touch passing and passing in the final third has been miles better . Hojlund made better runs in the channels & had chances. Confidence of a run of wins and a couple of decent goals should help ahead of weekend #UTFR

As with the games against Arsenal and city we have looked structured and well drilled but just failing to make chances count and poor decisions in the final third. We need to keep it up and adapt to Thier changes but also offer more going forward too

Shame it appears in the big games but then goes missing when we are playing lesser teams that just then simply out play us with determination and effort.

Don't think we should be over complaining about the goal. Without the deflection I think we don't concede. City got lucky it did. Apart from that we have looked better. If amad can stay onside or we some attacking threat towards walker then we still can create chances. #UTFR

United's downfall so far is not coping with Arsenals corners. You have to simply block their runners so they don't get into the space they attack. But also you have to make sure your not conceding the corners to start with to give them the opportunity to do what they want from the corner routines

After the amount of injuries of the past 12 months or so we might finally get getting to the end of it and at a perfect time to give the new manager a full squad to choice from but also to be able to coach in his ways and tactics . 🤞🏻 No further injuries with the reminder of the players due back

Than Ten Hag and comes in . Lays down the rules & is backed by the new structure to get shift of anyone who doesn't want to be there. His tactics & how the current players take to them is what's most interesting & even if he will adapt them to the team he has is what I feel makes it exciting

My expectations are pretty much non existent at this point . We have like you say been here before & so I feel we are more cautious as reds . I can't see him having much budget to make to many changes so he's going to have to lay down the law & get a tune out of this squad. I do hope he is different

Yeah I almost think because of the variables then we can't really have any expectations, it's going to be a real sort of wait and see . We will learn in his first couple of games but that unknown is intriguing & I bet a good number of ABU's will tune in to see how we get on.

As a former PL player you would think he would understand the competitive nature of the PL & that the pace & intensity of the matches means players are probably more concerned about injuries & fatigue. Maybe he's forgot with his 17 goals in 17 matches clearly it's easier for him in Germany

The new boss gets to see my view of Old Trafford just I'm a few rows higher. Looking forward to watching him come out of that tunnel in a couple of weeks Fingers crossed after a quiet & injury free international break.
