If I were an air traffic controller, I'd be taking a look at less hostile work environments outside the US or a similar job not involving working without pay on a increasingly frequent basis for something that isn't the U.S. Government.
At least the military got room and board during the shutdown.

My family does the car naming thing. I recently got an Acadia and we were trying to think of a good name when one of my kids mispronounced the model name. We now call it Canadia. (No "n" on the end.)

I've got a Core i7-7700 that would make for a more powerful file/app server than my A10-5700 except Dell crippled their systems with skimpy motherboards, no external bays, and fewer SATA ports. They used to be a go-to for used systems. Now it's just another lump of e-waste.
