Season 17 in the books. Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement throughout the season! I truly love entertaining all fans (even on the opposing teams) and hope you enjoyed my brand of organ playing. Also, good luck to my fellow MLB organists who will be playing in the playoffs!

Game 104 for me today. If you hear a lot of Beatles songs, it’s for Bob Carpenter, the Nationals tv announcer who’s retiring this year. Good luck Bob and congrats!

I won’t miss driving on the concrete nightmare called 285 after this week! Hopefully, I can avoid it for the rest of the year!

it’s the first time in 8 years (I think) that there isn’t a playoff push. I know exactly when the last game is. How do I charge up the fans without them looking forward to the postseason?

Can you tell that I graduated high school in the 90s?

It’s Oktoberfest season! On Saturday (9/20), I’ll be playing the accordion with the Marty Martin Polka Band at The Tucker Brewing Company at 2pm. And then on Sunday (9/21), I’ll be playing the accordion with the Mike Zimmerman Polka Band at The Harvey in Chamblee at 1pm. Prost!

Feels good to be back at it after a bum toe kept me out of action for a while.

Now spinning. Hearing Edith Piaf on a 78, played on an old Magnavox console is just glorious! I’ll be playing her music with The Hot Club Jazz Fellowship and vocalist Alvard Mayilyan at The Red Clay Music Foundry on Nov 14th!

I honestly don’t remember the interaction, so I really don’t know what happened.

Someone just recounted an experience they had with me that made me really sad. After they told me that they loved what I was doing, I “couldn’t have been more dismissive and went through the double doors to leave”. If you had a similar experience, I’m truly sorry. 😞

My job description is to play stupid songs. 😉
