I’m going through my VHS tapes and this brought back some great memories! Before the internet, since I didn’t know of any jazz organists locally, this was the way that I learned how to play jazz on the organ! So I guess Joey DeFrancesco and Jack McDuff were my first teachers!

Today we celebrated the life of Jack Wilkinson (former scorekeeper for the Braves and AJC writer). It was awe inspiring seeing all the people
who attended, as well as hearing the various stories, especially from his wife and daughters. He was loved by many and we miss him!

Some people have been asking if I’ll be playing at Bristol. Since the Braves are technically the away team, I will not be working the game. It’ll be fun watching from home though!

It felt so great to play with a fantastic group of musicians tonight after a bunch of solo gigs in the last month. To me, it’s a lot more fulfilling when I get to play in a group setting (especially when the musicians are top notch!).

It was super easy to buy a customized jersey at the Custom Shop in section 122 at @truistpark today! They let me try it on before to make sure I had the right size and it was done in about 20 minutes! I’m glad I went with the classic home whites! @Braves
