In the US, a driver's license is the sole form of id for the vast majority of people. You can get a state id, but it is essential the same process to get without the driving tests.

Try buying beer without a valid state id. Or getting healthcare. Or signing legal documents. Or enrolling in school.

This must be fought against hard core as this action

1. forces trans Kansans out of public life (just try living without a valid id for more than a few days)
2. will be replicated by other states
3. Is a stealth way to make transitioning illegal.
