Namjoon tries, again, very carefully, to free himself undoing Yoongi's grip one finger at a time. Of course, as soon as he thinks that Yoongi will let him go, that he will at least manage to stand again, take a few steps back and let Yoongi breathe and clear his mind, the omega lashes out. Hands grabbing blindly for his neck, pulling him closer, closer, and Namjoon knows he could free himself easily, a good scruff all it would take. Yoongi is so sensitive to everything that he knows it would work. But it's been drilled into him that good alphas don't abuse their power. That just because he can doesn't mean he should. Even though, in this particular case, everyone would agree he had no other choice. Still, he can't bring himself to do it. Yoongi chose to trust him, even though he clearly had no idea what he was agreeing to-- how is that possible, since Yoongi seems so close to him in age, Namjoon is sure he doesn't want to know. Scruffing him, putting him entirely under Namjoon's control without even a warning would be breaking that trust. Which is how he finds himself pulled onto the couch and arranged as if he was a blanket or a pillow. He's aware, deep down, that Yoongi doesn't realize what he's doing; it shows in how uncontrolled his movements are, in his glassy eyes, passing over Namjoon without seeing him. Trying to reason with him won't work; most likely, he won't hear anything Namjoon says, or if he does, he won't manage to understand him in his state.

All Namjoon needs is to be able to pull away for a minute. Just long enough for Yoongi to shake himself out of it. But of course, it doesn't happen. Instead, once Yoongi finally has Namjoon where he wants him, Namjoon finds himself with a lapful of omega straddling him, burying his face in Namjoon's neck in greedy gulps. Yoongi's desperation is enough to bring tears to Namjoon's eyes, and he can't help the gentle hand he rests on the back of Yoongi's head, still steering clear of his nape. How long has it been since the omega truly got what he needed? He thinks, again, that he needs to pull himself away. At that very moment, the omega starts purring. A cute little purr, regular and so loud that Namjoon can feel the vibrations through his whole body. <em>Fuck.</em> What has this strange omega gone through to lose himself to his instincts so easily? Namjoon finally admits that he won't manage to free himself and untangles the omega just enough that he can reach for his phone. A soft, unhappy sound escapes him, but he starts purring again as soon as Namjoon stops moving "Hyung? I need help."
